4 Weddings & No Funeral.

In 2015 we (Jaimie and myself) have 4 weddings to attend. 4! One of which is a reception, one I will be a bridesmaid and the other two will be ‘all day-ers’. Now, apart from the Susans wedding where I will be a bridesmaid, I have the dilemma of deciding what I shall wear to the other 3… I have been looking at one website in particular (Asos) and have found some stunning dresses, clutches and heels, all of which I would like to purchase. I thought, what better way to make sure everything suits, than to make a board on Polyvore (check out the website, if you’re into fashion, you’ll find this so much fun!). Here are a few of the outfits that I am loving and desperately want to purchase.

Now, I already have wardrobes full of dresses and mountains of shoes and bags, but I don’t really own anything that is wedding appropriate (though I am sure Jaimie would beg to differ!). All of the these outfits are over £100, but by the time I start look to buy my outfits then they should HOPEFULLY be in the sale… (wishful thinking!), because as most people know, weddings are not cheap and for me to spend that amount on an outfit would be crazy…

I Went Shopping Part 25.

I haven’t done one of these posts for AGES(!) and felt that it was about time to do another.
Now, most of my money goes towards paying the mortgage and household bills, so, I’ve not had a great deal of disposable income to splash on clothes, shoes and accessories. WHICH MAKES ME SAD.

As we’re stepping into Autumn I have been buying lots of jeans and jumpers (with a few dresses thrown in) to keep nice and toasty when going for my autumnal walks (which are the best walks!).

Everything you see here is from G21 @ ASDA, Primark, Matalan & Asos.

Review: Olay In Shower Body Lotion.

It’s been a long time since I last did a review post, however I do feel that this product is worthy of one because I love it!

Olay’s In Shower Body Lotion is my new favourite product, especially in this cold weather! When winter strikes I tend to get dry skin, this is an absolute pain as I cannot always be bothered to apply moisturiser when I come out of the shower or bath, I do sometimes pop some baby oil into my shower puff or in the bath, but thought I would give it a bash.

I am a huge fan of Olay products and loved their body wash which they discontinued years ago, it would leave my skin feeling like I had moisturised, I bought it from Costco and haven’t found it since. So when I noticed this I did wonder if it would leave my skin feeling as good as the body wash (RIP) and…….. IT DOES! Now, this product is not a body wash so you will not apply this to the body puff, you will use your normal body wash and apply then In Shower Body Lotion all over your body and rinse…. once out of the shower pat your body dry and you’re left feeling silky smooth. Goodbye dull dry winter skin, hello glowing soft skin! This product is highly recommended and I suggest that you go out and purchase it, now!

I’m In With The In Crowd.

I gave in and succumbed, I am now the proud owner of UGG boots.

I have always had a pair of Fuggs, fake uggs if you will. You know, the ones from high street which don’t keep your feet warm and if there is even the SLIGHTEST bit of water make you slip and slide about the like you are competing in the ice skating section of the winter Olympics!

This was not a decision taken lightly as they cost A LOT and I would see these as an investment rather than a fashion statement. For I shall (and will try not to) wear these with ‘cottons’ and a Jack Wills jumper, I AM NOT A STUDENT or a teenager.

I knew the pair that I wanted, my eyes had been set on a pair of ‘Baileys’ in chestnut with triple buttons, I searched the internet for a good deal, some where £240 and the pair that I found were £219 from http://www.spartoo.co.uk, free delivery which is a bonus but I had to wait 6 days before I received the beauties. Now I am not a patient person so 6 days on a pair of boots I just paid £219 for was not the greatest, but nonetheless they arrived and I am happy.

These boots are for the winter, I have my winter boot selection which consist of biker boots, ankle boots, Hunter wellies, snow boots and now my UGG’s. I also have my winter wardrobe and coats, but I shall leave that for another post.

Now I will leave you with a couple of pictures of my ‘Neeeeeew shooooooes!’

Round Up.

Herrow chaps and chapettes!

Not much has been happening since I last checked in with you, still working away and spending money on clothes and shoes.

I turned the ripe old age of 26, as you get older you realise how much birthdays are not a bit deal. BUT I did however have an awesome birthday night with my best buds! The theme was Man v Food, everybody was invited to make big/lots of food and bring drinks. I went for the giant cheeseburger and with Jaimie’s help it was AMAZING.
It was a very drunken night (even though I was horrifically ill, I had viral infection), it wss filled with party games, face paints and people popped on all the trinkets inside their party bags. I loved it and I love my friends.

I also happened to go on a long weekend away to the beautiful city of Budapest. I went with 4 of my buddies and we spent 4 days and 3 nights exploring, taking in the sights and sounds with a pub crawl thrown in for good measure. Budapest is stunning and the weather was quite good, surprisingly warm in October! There is so much history and it was great to learn about it.
I will definitely be going back and this time taking Jaimie as he is DESPERATE to go.

Other things in Kathryn news is that I have a new phone which I love, hiya Galaxy SIII! Burst my lip and hurt my teeth on a drunken night out. Went to the RBS Museum Lates with Lisa and her work friends, again another drunken night out. Took mum to Chamber Street Museum to see the Catherine The Great exhibition, which is a must (it has since finished). Dinner and a meeting with Jaimie’s family for his dad’s 60. Spent more money on clothes and shoes. Treated mum, dad and Jaimie to lunch. Gotten over a viral infection AND cut my fringe in… again.

Round Up/Pictures.

Oh hai there!

It’s been a while hasn’t it…

I was aiming to make the blogging a bit more regular, but I just didn’t find the time. I have been awfy busy working, going out or just being plain lazy.

Here are a few pictures for your lovely little peepers to enjoy, some of the things I have been up to and some sweet treats. I will be writing up another blog post this week, full of the new clothes and shoes that I have been buying, which since July is A LOT.
